Hi Zach, I just caught up with your "what's new" page, and I just wanted to say that 190403 is absolutely beautiful. It has a classical look, almost like a violin. I used to play the cello, so I do have a feel for this. The machine heads have very much a violin peg look, and are beautiful. Then there's the shaping of the edges. Then there's the finish itself. This instrument does look like it's been made by a violin maker turned guitar maker. Which is not to say it doesn't possess an authenticity of its own -- the guitar strap button located in space so as to perfectly balance the guitar when its held with a strap, the shaping of the waist so that it sits perfectly on the thigh when played sitting down, the simplicity of the controls (again, the "classical" concept) -- in Germany I believe this is called the Bauhaus philosophy, "form follows function" -- do you have German genes? Do you drive a Porsche? "I wish," I hear you say. But all of this thinking is really classical in its simplicity and elegance.
Anyway, I can assure you I would be lining up to buy one of your instruments, Zach, but I just had to pay over $5000 in back taxes for last year, and now I have to save up for the next quarterly payment towards George's next war... Oh, well. I had an idea for a guitar with Roland's guitar synth built in, and no pickups or controls on the guitar at all -- wouldn't that be intriguing? Better not reply though, because I won't be able to afford it for quite some time.
