This is an absolutely fabulous guitar. After I installed the strings on it, I played it and could not put it down. The Top is Canary wood and the back is very soft Bass wood. This combination of hard and heavy top with an extremely soft back seems to really work for great tone. The back is so soft that if you look at it the wrong way it scratches and dents. Many companies use Bass wood because its cheap but they cover it with 48 coats of thick plastic paint and that is what gives it the durability and keeps the sound in. You know how I feel about condom covered guitars. The tone is incredible on this instrument. I dare you to find an instrument that will mach it. It has a huge sound through a clean amp, deep lows and clear highs. I was even surprised. Distorted, its just a monster. I made the neck slightly V-shaped and its incredibly fast. This is just one high performance instrument.
Warning - if you hate shredders or showoff firebreathing guitar players then do not buy this guitar because it will turn you into what you hate. You will become a firebreathing guitar player yourself.
