Brian Moore Custom Guitars

Here is an early guitar completed on May 31, 1998. If you notice it has an original aluminum Wilkinson bridge on it, DiMarzio pickups, the headstock shape is slightly different from my current design. Notice how the nut placement is different and that it is a bone nut instead of my Mission Impossible nut. Also notice how there is wood in between the end of the neck and the rhythm pickup and that I was using a plastic control cover instead of the wood covers that I use now. The wiring and switching however had been already finalized and is the same as I currently use.

Most importantly, this guitar has a nonadjustable trussrod. Therefore, the neck relief cannot be adjusted. In the early days I did not use adjustable trussrods.

I do some things differently now but this guitar and other early guitars already have most of the main characteristics which make a Zachary guitar.
